This was an incredible second go over, and I went what was about the equivalent of two prior pickups. One lady came down, introduced herself to me and asked I was doing this on my own or for someone. I told her I was out there doing it on my own, but that it was nice to be able to clean up God’s world. She was very appreciative thanking me for cleaning up the neighborhood.
There was another couple that stopped their car in the middle of Boy Scout road and got my attention. I had Truman going again in my headphones. They wanted to say thank you.
I found my first wallet. There was no money inside, but there was a driver’s license and a number of expired credit cards. These cards expired in 2011 and 2012. I think that the purse was likely snatched, the cash taken and the pocketbook tossed. I thought of trying to track the owner down, but it has been 5 years, the cards are expired and it seems like it might bring up a subject happily forgotten.
