Where will you be in the spectrum of humanity?
Will you rage against God? This takes many forms and sometimes is merely an internal divisiveness and not an external raised fist. God will come back while some people walk the earth. Wrath will be meted out to the ragers.
Will you die in you sins? Remember that Souls are more resilient than Styrofoam…they last forever. Judgment will find you beyond the grave.
Will you die having accepted the free gift of God’s atonement? Reward will find you beyond the grave. God expounds upon this group placing categories of prophets, servants, saints and those who fear the Lord.
Are you small or are you great? Doesn’t matter still the same story for humanity rises and falls before their creator. God was maker and God will be the finisher. Perhaps you have heard him called the Alpha and the Omega? Beginning and end?
Are you an earth harmer or earth helper? Recycle, pick up trash, help the planet. It is, after all, God’s magnificent work.
From heaven to earth God reigns
19 Then God’s temple in heaven was opened, and the ark of his covenant was seen within his temple. There were flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder, an earthquake, and heavy hail. (Revelation 11:19–ESV)
The blood of God was the offering that sealed the covenant of God with man. This is underwritten by the ark of the covenant which God keeps in heaven. There is the policy, there is the title deed, there is the fine print. How does life really work and who is really behind all things? God is. We sort of know that but many don’t know what to make of it, or if they do they reject it. The signs of God’s grace have extended from heaven to earth. When earth raged and scoffed, when the ill and selfish approach of mankind to God’s world raised is ugly head then came lightning, rumblings, thunder, earthquakes and hail.
As we are yet alive we yet get to choose. Choose you this day whom you will serve. Will it be temporary things or eternal ones? Both have an outcome; both have an endgame at the throne of God. David said in the last verse of Psalm 2, “Kiss the Son, lest he be angry and you perish in the way, for his wrath is quickly kindled. Blessed are all who take refuge in him.” (Psalm 2:12–ESV)
